When I tell you that this mocktail has big, bold flavors… I’m not kidding! This may be the best pineapple jalapeño mocktail I have ever had and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
While at the store the other day, I found a can of Tepache Pineapple Chili and was so intrigued. Not only is it awesome alone, it’s the perfect addition to both mocktails and cocktails! The Tepache website mentions that this flavor is only available in Target as of right now – but they have so many amazing flavors you can grab online!
Ingredients
- Tepache Pineapple Chili
- Freshly squeezed lime juice
- Jalapeños
- Ice
- Tajín for rim *optional
Depending on how spicy you like your mocktails, you can use more or less jalapeños (I’m a big spice gal, so I’ll typically add a few extra slices of jalapeños after muddling some).
Note: If you’d like, you can use pineapple juice in place of the freshly squeezed lime juice. I had forgotten to pick up pineapple juice so went with the next best thing for me (and I’m so glad I did, the lime adds such a beautiful flavor).
How to make a pineapple jalapeño mocktail
Use the end of a lime and gently rim your glass and dip it into Tajín. This step is completely optional but I highly recommend doing it for extra flavor! There are two ways to make this: the slightly spicy way and the extra spicy way.
For the extra spicy way, here’s what you’ll need to do.
After you’ve rimmed your glass with lime and Tajín, place 2-3 jalapeño slices to the bottom of your glass along with the lime juice and lightly muddle the two together. Feel free to add a bit of agave syrup to sweeten it up, too!
After you muddle the two ingredients together, add the ice and Tepache Pineapple Chili. Finish with extra jalapeño slices and a lime and enjoy.
For the slightly spicy way, here’s what you’ll need to do.
After you’ve rimmed your glass with lime and Tajín, add some ice to the glass. Pour the lime juice and Tepache Pineapple Chili into the cup and give it a good stir. Add the jalapeño slices and a lime and enjoy!

Whether you choose to make your mocktail slightly spicy or go all the way and make a super spicy drink, you’ll be blown away by the flavors!
It’s safe to say that this mocktail has rightfully earned it’s place in my top 5 mocktails I’ve made!
I can’t wait to hear what you think about this drink, leave a comment down below and let me know how you liked it 🙂
